Trip Detector

Trip Detector

Q. What is the advantage of enabling trip detectors in tracks?

A. When the vehicle is stationary with the engine on, the tracker tends to get a lot of nearby positions at different points. When the speed increases above 5 Km/hr, the vehicle starts to move and the track is monitored at different points.

With the trip detector enabled, it shows only the points on the map after the vehicle has started moving but not the points when the vehicle was stationary. A single point rather than a large number of points will be displayed in place of Stops and Parkings on the map.
